Arent you a member of north wales cave rescue?
If so they should have people that can train you up to cave rescue standards and am guessing wont charge you

FWIW, I'm not the most trusting of people when it comes to a potential Squishy death at the bottom of something, but I have never had a reason to doubt EWJ's methods. OK, it's not quite as it should be, but I bet you it never happens again with Dom. And as a result of this, I now know to hang a Y in a situation like that.
I've seen Life on a Line recommended, any other books I need to stick my nose into?

I have a few on Alpine rope techniques that are very good and some ones on basic caving skills which are always good to browse over every now and then to refresh your memory.
Life on a line will give you all the knowledge you need for knots, gear and rigging
