Default Echo Falls, Rochdale - February 2012 - 27-02-2012, 22:59

Explored with Kenni

Echo Falls was constructed on the site of a demolished mill near Rochdale which is now a new housing development.
Work doesn't seem to have gone very far (if any at all) since the drains original discovery, its still not completely underground and still has plywood manhole covers

Starting at the infall working our way down.....

Kenni suffering welly fail after all of a minute in the water

a very very noisy waterfall!

Getting piss wet through under the waterfall

cheers all

I must admit I had fail too. One of the collars on my tripod was a bit loose and as I picked it up at the top, the rest of it fell under the waterfall and got whooshed away to the final chamber Luckily it was retrieved and it didn't fall into the water under the outfall and sink

A few of mine, much more of the same really. Thankfully Ian did not mention the millions of evil looking spiders in there! Overall a good little day out Would be interesting to re-visit when the housing development is complete.
