Visited with the aim of just getting at least one of the headstocks (apparently the tallest in europe!) done but we managed to get through what was left of the site & what a real eye opener it was!
What was left of this once huge site  Rope changing winch (Headstock 2)    No.1 Winder  No.1 Winder control room            Rotary converters? in the electrical control room    Spare motor brushes  Electrical control room from outside  One leg of headstock 1     ....Lister;~) |
