Explored with Matt1209 and JDW

I first noticed this place a couple of weeks ago on my way to getting some breakfast from the bakers, and it has been on my to do list since then. So with nothing better to do on a sunday we headed out for a wander.

I haven't been able to find much information apart from it was a plastic works called Arena Plastics LTD and suppied commercial and industrial plastics. from some documents i found inside the building it closed in late september 2009 due to lack of funds, as i found a bill from british gas asking for a nice chunk of cash.

After entering the rear courtyard of the building we found a few things that looked out of place in a plastic works. So i'm not to sure if only the main room was the pastic works and the other rooms were workshops or garages.

A mini we found in one of the outside garages

At this point we were wondering what kind of plastic works has all the cars lying around, and the first room we entered didn't exactly look like a plastic work either. There we some really nice old cars in here that have just been left to rust which is a shame really.

There was also another mini in this room, and a shell of a car not to sure on the model. after leaving this room and jumping over a flooded toilet room we entered the main building which started to look a litte more like a plastic works instead of a garage.

This picture is really just to show the room not our lightpainting skills

Plastic racking

I enjoyed all the old cars, a fun explore to liven up a sunday night.
Thanks for looking
