Sorry it's another rooftop...

Dear me this place was high, it puts crane climbing to shame. After some well thought out tactics involving a mobile phone and me not actually talking to anyone I was winding my way through staircases, service lifts and various floors.

After an un-complex entry to the roof I took a few photographs in the wind and set back off for the ground floor.

History;

The place is based on 30 storeys and was completed back in 1965, it is the third highest building in Manchester and was formly known at 'Sunley House'.

After bouts of the financial depression in the 80's and early 90's many companies/businesses left the premises and it was left to slowly run down.

In 2004 the building was purchased by Bruntwood for £65 Million and completely overhauled, the rooftop is pretty much a massive microwave with the BBC, Galaxy and Rock Radio masts domineering the roof space.

Thanks, Gone...
