Rakewood Viaduct

This 140ft bridge forms a section of the M62 between Milnrow & Saddleworth Moor



In need of some more exercise for my foot, myself and one half of The_Collective went for some rope action this afternoon on your motorway bridges....

I know a security guard from one of Manchester's 'prime' sites and he told me back in the 80's he swung off this with his mates, Respect!

I always find it amazing how there's no security on these things, especially now the media are scaring us with stories of al Qaida revenge attacks. Taking one of these (or all) could seriously cripple the Northern transport infrastructure.
