Default Damart Chimney climb, Bingley July 2011 - 04-07-2011, 11:10

Years ago there was no outdoor clothes as such you used to wear long-john's and woolly jumpers , then Damart came along and revolutionized the outdoors undergarment , so keen to try out these new wonder clothes my father and I made a trip over to Bingley to kit ourselves out in this new rigour , as we drove into the factory yard our eyes were drawn to the magnificent chimney with lettering right up it , the concept of such a large-scale advertisement was not known back then but over the next 20 years was to become a house-hold name and so easy to find because of there huge black chimney with 6ft white letters , we pulled up outside the mill shop and wondered in , I bought the leggings a polo-neck and some gloves my father with a bigger budget than me was trying all-sorts on , so I paid and said I would meet him outside , as I walked out I couldn't help myself but try and climb upto the overhang on the chimney , after 3 go,s I was swinging on the lip with 20ft of fresh air below me , fast forward 100s of years and there I am swinging from the same arm but this time it was the top of the chimney I was after..

Sadly my Damart clothing has long gone but my youthful good looks and adventurous spirt still getting me into lumber..
Another short paragraph from the soon to be bestseller "High Esteem"

You've got an infectious :)
