The inside of the building felt thoroughly explored... The next logical step was the roof...
The lower roof was flooded and frozen, looking more like a frozen lake than a power station roof...
The roof had perfect untouched snow... It was quite a beautiful site... Well, as beautiful as a powerstation can look...
we returned inside...
ever get the feeling your not alone?
we werent...
As Jimmy was setting up his rollei in the main room (the really long one) I heared something outside... I ran upstairs and peeped out of the window... four guys in visi vests and helmets were coming towards us... They'd spotted me...
I returned to the main room, and told Jimmy... After a brief chat with the guys, they said we had half an hour to finish up our photography before we had to leave so they could start work... They were nice guys... One of them was really interested in putting a stihl saw to the safe in one of the upstairs rooms... I have no idea if he did
The contractors told me they were clearing the rooms for demolition... Apparantly it's going to be a new road?
That was in February... The building is still there...
