Good stuff guys, looks like you all had a fun day. Would have been up for this but had to do a car boot sale LOL, bet you had loads more fun....

From what we know the line closed in 1961 and ran from Trawnswfndd and finished at Bala. It is now seperated by the lyne celyn lake so any future plan of re-opening and joining up with ffestinog will have to go a different direction at this point. The line is a serious major engineering wonder and cuts high in the valley wall. There are a least 3 structures like these and all built to last..

A search through flicr revealed a few pics that look nice in the snow.



Wd40 may shed some more light on the line..
