Default Prototype Concrete - 26-10-2012, 23:26

One for the specialists this.

A groundsman's hut at a school in Accrington which is actually the prototype test panels for the concrete system designed by Lancashire County Council Architect's Research and Development Department and ultimately deployed on Police Stations at Wigan, Blackpool, St. Helen's, Skelmersdale, Morecambe and Preston in the 1960s. All of this work was under the guidance of Roger Booth, County Architect, 1962-83, the longest serving of any officer to hold this post.
