Agecroft (formerly Northern) Cemetery was made from land bought from the Agecroft Hall estate in 1901 for about £27,000. The first internment took place in 1903. This Church of England chapel is in a terrible state of repair and perpetually ‘about to be restored’. Stunning decay though.
