This is a Collaboration by me and The Navigator. He was at St Mary's in 1995 and very kindly sent me some of his old pics and I've put them together with my pics taken very recently so we both hope you enjoy.
Meny thanks to The Navigator.
St. Mary's comprises a group of residences, enjoying a strong sense of community, set in a commanding position above the city. The site has it's own bar, quiet work room, common room and launderette. As well as 151 single study-bedrooms, there are 51 self catering rooms. Twenty-four flats are available on site for married students and their families."
The common room all it was was a TV stuck in the middle of a tatty room with a few chairs chucked in for good measure. The weekly fee in 1994 for catered accommodation was £44.93. Self catered was £30 per week.
