After hearing rumours this place was being sealed we thought we'd better get back to do the through trip sooner rather than later.

Even if it wasn't rumoured to being sealed we needed to get back as it's such a magical trip to do.

The history of Force Crag was comprehensively covered by C.C. last time we did it
http://nwex.co.uk/showthread.php?t=8044.

Explored by Boboil, Morrisey, Manx, C.C., Ed, Carabeener The Bacup Scrawper &
a few Aditnow peeps.

Another thru trip safely executed and going by recent noises on the grape vine possibly the last!

Another day were the sun shone brightly, the walk up there would be really miseable in the rain.

Heres a link to a map of the workings;

A few from me.

Copy cat approaches the op of the La Porte incline - it has got to be abot a 1:3 at this point

Scrawper ascends the first set of dodgy ladders.

Boboil on a seriously dodgy set of ladders (if anyone has a go at this thru trip ensure you use your srt gear were needed)

Manx in a tricky situation

Up on the High Force level making our way back down (bottom rhs you can just make out the mill)

Egregious!

Absolutely stunning pics there!! i never saw half of that stuff when me and blino went up. I think the only bit of kit we saw was that winch at the top of the incline and a wheel barrow.

How come they are sealing it up?
