Arrow Salford Flour Mill & The Old Bank Theatre, Manchester - Feb 09 Report - ARCHIVE - 18-02-2009, 02:11

Visited by Sneak & Bigjobs.

Hastly arranged we headed out, Had a couple of things in mind, more so than anything I needed to conquer the Salford Flour Mill again, and return with photos this time!

After giving KFC some sly abuse due to sitting in the que for the drive thru so long jobs forgot what was even on the friggin board to start with, haha, we made off, into the dens of Manchester, literally.

We arrived at the old bank theatre and had a good play with the cameras in here. Its not huge, its not spectacular, but it is an abandoned theatre, so it needed to be done!

First Attempt At A proper Pano. Meh, need practice

After checking out the theatre, we decided to head over to the old flour mill within close proximity. After an a very speedy access via what can only be described as not the most ideal location, and not for fat bastards either, we were in. Bigjobs wanted to play on the big roof so off he went to see if it was worth doing, whilst I stayed on the lower roof getting some shots I have been waiting so long for!

Jobs nearly up ont' roof

Flour Carts

All in all, Had a good night, Was good to learn a few more camera skills as I'm still learning, Picked up a few new bits too, Sneak now has a nice zoom lense, a few filters and also a beautiful wide angle lense. Get in!

Thanks Mr Bigjobs for an eventful and good night, as well as all the tips.
