Default Hilton Hotel (Beetham Tower) Rooftop, Manchester - 14/03/10 - 15-03-2010, 21:06

Beetham Tower aka Hilton Tower, is a 47 storey skyscraper situated in Manchester, built in 2007. The first 23 levels are home to the five star Hilton Hotel, including a skybar on the 23rd storey, called Cloud 23, looking down at the city streets through a glass floor. The upper levels are private appartments and there is a penthouse suite on the top floor, home to the bulding's designer Ian Smpson.

The tower meausres at 168.87 metres tall, which makes it the tallest building outside of London.

So me and Over headed accross to Manchester after climbing a new crane in Wigan, and we thought we'd give it a shot. What can I say, amazing. The views were spectacular, and my pictures certainly don't do it justice, but hey.

Big respect to Over, couldn't have done it without him, we had some proper teamwork skillz going on to get up this baby.

And lastly we went to Castlefield Viaduct to get a full shot of the tower

Few more here

Great work lads. This is probably one of the best places in Northern England. Nice to see it done again.
