Great stuff. Is this the culvert that goes under the town and has gated access to some shop basements?

And there's a nice abandoned rail line in town too, it forks off to the left on this GE link:

Its down stream of the town centre culverts by a few hundred yards. I've looked at that branch on t'internet a few times but not checked it out yet, which is extremely lazy of me seeing as I used to work on the same road

The viaduct was resurfaced (along with darcy lever viaduct further down) as part of plans for a cycle way along the railway route which has unsurprisingly failed to happen yet.
