Default Bus Graveyard Bolton 01/12 - 21-01-2012, 17:11

I was shown these by Camera Shy so we went down in pitch black and perishing cold to this isolated site!
The most recent tax disc showed 1996 but the rest of the vehicles seemed to be generations apart and not in too good condition!
As for the history - there is none! It looks like a farmer has acquired and just left them there! If he weighed them in, he’d make a nice little earner but he hasn’t and here we were taking a good look at this unusual and wonderful find!
I returned in daylight with Honey Pie and got some more shots, but we had to make a hasty retreat when the farmer’s tractor parked up nearby!

It was a tad cold and windy, but oohh so much fun, especially when we had to duck and dive to keep out of sight of the farmer, also think I need some longer legs, jumping over those water courses, was something to behold, and thanks again to bignickb in making sure I didn't end up in the drink

Like the shots in the darkness

I remember looking at a similar thread (bus graveyard) some time ago, think that was up near Fleetwood
