Spotted this when I was looking at a nearby building, from the road it looks like it could still be in use (signs still clean etc), but when you get near its obviously not.

Found signs of tramps living in there, there was some bedding and human feaces (lol). Its been pretty trashed though, albeit I think most of the roof probably just fell down of its own accord, as theres doesnt seem to be much damage to the other stuff thats left.

I think they moved in febuary 2003 (from newspapers left behind), to a newer premises not too far away. Following is speil from the website:

Quote:
Founded in 1961 DP Watson Limited are a firm of Machine Knife Grinders, Printers Sundry Suppliers and Printers Engineers.

Based in Liverpool, we call on over 800 customers a week throughout the North of England giving regular collection and delivery for our Machine Knife Resharpening service. We can sharpen both straight and circular knives for a variety of industries.

In conjunction with our Regrinding service for the Printing and allied trades, we also offer a wide range of consumables and we represent some of the leading names in Printers Sundry Supplies.

Our Engineering section specialises in:

• Paper Cutting
• Guillotines
• Finishing Equipment
• Performing electrical and mechanical repairs
• Machinery removals and installations
• Safety checks and servicing
• New and secondhand machinery
Regretably I didnt take my tripod and rushed through the place, as I didnt want to be found by some angry tramps on my own, definately worth a revisit though, I could spend hours rooting through all the drawers.

External:

The downstairs was full of dark corridors and rooms, full of allsorts.

Most rooms were like this though, with the ceiling on peices all over the floor:

Rooms full of boxes of paperwork etc:

Kitchen:

There was also specifications for labels all over the place, this is just two of many.

I then came across this peice of machinery, which was in a room full of paint-cans of various colours, so I can only guess its some sort of printing device:

The room opposite had another machine in, and a space-age door.

Through the door was another real treat, a super-automatic something or other.

I then made my way upstairs, which was another treat entirely!

2 massive warehouse type spaces, which ajoining offices.

One office, absolutely full of things:

Kor!

Again apologies for the blurryness of some photos, ill get some better ones at some point!
