Prestolee Sewage Treatment Plant
Visited with MM
This place was a nice explore, a lot of different things going on made it
quite hard to get bored quickly!
Anyway I'm glad I went, was going to spend another day on my arse but
I really couldn't be bothered wasting away with boredom. A great place
to go if you can cope with terrible smells that linger in your nostrils...
As I creeped slowly around the corner, the light caught my eye. I stepped
back a minuite, took a deep breath and then edged cautiously towards
the opening. As I reached the door I realised that nobody was inside and made my way in, only to find an interesting
variety of machines with different functions and to my suprise there was even an underground level!
We made our way back outside and were amazed by all the abstract
machines and miles upon miles of pipes (after all the miles of concrete)
which are needed just to 'economically' dispose of human waste.
Finally we decided to go high up. This was only about 6 floors tall
(3 on the left 3 on the right in a zig-zag pattern) but was really nice
and relaxed (and smelled less of raw excrement than everywhere else).
Luckily, whilst we were up there we spotted security doing one of
their 'regular' checks, and decided to make a swift exit.
A great day exploring yet again!
Thanks for reading.
