Default Bailey Mill, Oldham 30th Dec 2010 - 30-12-2010, 21:50

The third explore of the day was at Bailey Mill in Oldham. We thought it might be a nice easy one to do to get me back on the horse after the St Thomas' fiasco.

As Bailey Mill has been done a fair bit already, I'll spare the history repeat.

The lower floor is pitch black because of the boarded up windows, which was a shame because there are loads of fantastic machines still there. We didn't have much in the way of lighting, but managed to get some ok shots.

The higher floors are pretty empty in comparison to earlier reports I've seen on the place. I seem to just miss all the good parts by a month or two.

No fences, no security, no problems.

Thanks for looking! x

Cool, not seen this done for a few months. It's amazing that after nearly 4 years of being do-able, it's not been paid a visit by the local arsonists. It's also amazing that the owners haven't done anything with the place, other than allow it to rot.

Love these shots, they were going to convert this to appartments but the goverment wont give them any money also like its been said this is now covered in metel sheets over the windows, at least it will stop the pikeys getting in. The owners really dont like people paying any attention to this mill when i talked to them they couldnt wait for me to leave them. Good work
