Can't really offer you much history on the place other than it shut down over a year ago and is the hospital I was born in!
The maternity Hospital and Eye Unit are all part of the same site along with a few other small clinics.
A small section of the site is still live and sadly much has been demolished with the rest soon to follow. Not much to see as all the records and equipment were transfered to another site but a nice chilled out explore all the same
