Default Warehouse, Strangeways, MCR - July 2011 - 13-07-2011, 22:17

Just a bit of right place, right time. But it has to be said there is a fair bit around Cheetham Hill and Strangeways that wants a shove and a poke around. This place has been emptied save the last few bits that were being hacked by the Irish fellas I was skirting around. Bumped into one and rolled out the owner’s permission blag. He wasn’t arsed. The best thing in here is the terrazzo stairwell and the remaining evidence of a muzak system! I don’t know the name of the place, but might do a bit of work and see what it was; it had been pretty well swept.

Straight to the top.

Vertical circulation

Factory floor

Workplace

Entertainment. Muzak volume control

Amplification. Muzak system speaker in top of shot

Goods lift

Sprinkler

Signage

Moody backroom

That's very nice. You're right about Strangeways, I remember stumbling across the old milk shake factory a few years ago.

There's a couple of particularly nice Victorian buildings in the Italianate Palazzo style that are definitely empty, I keep scoping them for holes, but no joy yet. I'm sure those out with another (am predominantly solo) and a bit more adventurous than I could bust 'em.

Nice parquet flooring! Hope it doesn't get trashed.

Do you know if this is still here?

We found a couple of new places in cheetham hill yesterday that were alright for a wander, nothing special though.
