Default ARCHIVE - Down Below Drain, Stoke on Trent 5-11-09 - 05-11-2009, 16:55

My first Drain,
I have visited it before but only ventured a hundred yards or so.
So anyway, was bored this morning, and having just had my (ebay, £3.20, free p+p, with wide diffuser and 3 coloured filters, BARGAIN!!!) Cobra MD210 Flash gun delivered, decided to go and try some light painting. The approach was a little deeper than before, though I was expecting it to be much worse given the recent rain. However once inside it was no deeper/faster than my previous visit and so went for it.
Been done before by several people on here, and I'm sure you'll agree some of my shots were inspired by some of theirs. All in all a good little mooch to test both my new flash and my nerve, both of which proved pretty sound.

About 20 yards in looking back to the entrance

to the twin 1.5 rcp for a spot of light painting, can you spot the MortalDecay inspired shot???

another junction, 1.5 and 1m rcp

a little respite from the stoopage of the 1.5rcp

and after a bit more stoopage, opens out to the more accomodating 2m+

eventually reaching the sewer overflow chamber, not a particularly bad smell but the roar of the water behind the wall was so loud.

Really enjoyed it on the whole (pardon the pun) and looking forward to more, maybe not solo next time though
