Default Martins Bank Building, Liverpool - July 2010 - 29-07-2010, 17:09

Martins Bank Limited was a Liverpool-based British finanical services company that was taken over by Barclays Bank in 1969. Before this in 1918, the bank was acquired by the Bank of Liverpool, which had been founded earlier in 1831 in Liverpool, and the name of the merged bank then became the Bank of Liverpool and Martins Ltd. However, the name was shortened to Martins Bank Ltd in 1928.

Only managed to access the lower roof from the right entrance of the building as I was stopped before I could attempt the main rooftop, obviously i'll be making a return at some point to change this.

I forgot to get an external of the place, here's one from Google Images;

Cheers for looking!
