When out at the weekend for a look around H.M.S. Blackcap / Stretton Airfield. Had a couple of target in mind but never got to them but found this place, after doing a bit of research I found this to be some sort of battle head quarters building type 3329/41 or 11008/41. It was flooded and I didn’t have a torch and no waterproof footwear to have a proper look.

Exterior, I did think at first it was just a pillbox.

Escape Hatch.

Flooded but remains of old light fittings.

Plan I found of the building.

I will go back at some point to see if I can get in the other end of the building.
