Explored with the bird.

The original plan was to seek out the Victoria/Waterloo tunnel but after deciding that climbing down the Byrom Street cutting wasn't our best plan of action we scrapped it and headed for the derelict building opposite instead.

Meaty history on this place is dire to be honest and all I can gather is that it was founded in 1792 and closed in 1937 after merging with other local churches.

In 2006 (approx.) regeneration projects sprung up all around Liverpool and this area was one of them, however I can only presume that it got scrapped as this place has hardly been touched since.

There is a big empty lot as part of the site and we seen planning pictures inside so presumed that they were using the old church as an office and would eventually knock it down/convert it along with the new build.

It was really strange that the workmen had just left all their boots in there like they could return at any time.

Plans:

We had company

Didn't edit these pics like I have been doing...think I over did it on the last two reports.

Interesting place. I myself quite liked the processing on your last reports.

Have you thought of using no flash while indoors at night, and perhaps using lights with a tripod to get longer exposures? I'm sure if you have a look round this site, there are plenty of examples.
