This has had a fair few reports but it has been on my to-do list for a while now and so as the weather was nice we decided to have a gander......
Not much history but the tunnels are basically for the river croal to run under the town centre, with a few rather interesting features along the way... Visited with Snake Oil       This was freaky, white lillys tied up with a note saying "To the woman with the black eye, i'm watching you x" .......    Snake Oil under the shopping centre   Mayo anyone?     Another one "ticked"........
