Default Minffordd Hospital, Bangor - March 2011 - 30-03-2011, 23:24

This place is fairly trashed, but is still worth a look around. I can't find much history on the place at all. Found this place by mistake after avoiding security following another failed attempt at St Mary's site.

Minffordd Hospital was built as the area's infectious diseases hospital as a result of the Bangor typhoid epidemic in 1895 with a number of isolation units. It became a community hospital in recent years, and also housed the Gwynedd Alzheimers Society. The site closed in 2006 and is currently up for sale.
