Visited with Ojay, Woodburner, Doc P, and AEB.
After a fail trying to get into some nearby bunkers, we all headed over to Dodge Hill for a mooch, this was a well funny explore
Dodge Hill Air Raid shelter was mined out by hand by the Stockport Air Raid Precautions Committee in 1938, in preparation for World War 2. The shelters could hold 3,000 people in the event of an air raid, and as most of the tunnels look similar it's like a bit of a maze inside.
There are still loads of beds down there, and even some original toilets from the war.
Thanks to Woodburner for bringing the fluoro lights, awesome for lighting
The metal plate at the end is a cover from where they cut the tunnel in half to make way for the M60
Cheers doc p for being the Mesh Bitch
Old bogs
This took about 10 attempts thanks to everyone coming out with funny comments / stupid noises / laughing
Cheers guys for an awesome explore
