Default ARCHIVE - Lydgate tunnel - yes, again...Jan 2010 - 12-01-2010, 00:46

I know it's been done recently, but I was itching to do something and couldn't afford to go far - seeing as this is about a mile away from home I thought we should go and give it a look-see.... visited with Denzul

Not much history to be found on the actual tunnel and most of it has been published on this site before, so I won't bohter this time - if you are itching for more info, do a search on here or see my site - IF i can ever figure out what's gone wrong with my frontpage extensions.....

On with the pics...

Judging from Bungle's photos, it's a lot wetter down there now, with water pouring in all over the places but in particular from the old airshafts... vvv

As I said, a tad on the damp side... vvv

stalactites...vvv
