Tried to visit this on Sat but walked up there and was confronted by the owner, who asked us to leave in a nice way. The hall was a former boarding school , then retirement home. It was burnt down in 2004 (the lads who did got sent down) Laudyx visited a while ago and she had posted in depth history so I wont repeat. I read the posts and the common theme was what a shame wish it could be restored. Well the good news is, thats going to happen. A dentist from Altringham has bought for 400K and plans to restore the hall at a cost of 5 million. If you check laudys thread you will be able to see the difference ( he started to clear veg away) All i can say is he must be making a fortune. Any way went back on Monday and had a look around. He has his work cut out. But its good to see that it going to be brought back
