Default Bunker Storm Drain, Warrington - June 2012 - 26-06-2012, 23:07

Explored with Kenni

Built in the 1980s for the eventuality of a 1 in 30 year storm, Bunker is a 3 mile long concrete monster of a system. This has been on my 'to do' list for ages but the rain hasn't given much opportunity. With a break in the weather after a months worth of rain in two days and a fail at a mill earlier in the day it was time to hit up the famous Bunker storm drain.

We didn't get all the way to the end as time was getting on and we were also getting a bit paranoid about the water getting deeper and faster, which on getting back towards our exit the levels had actually dropped a good six inches - we will be back!
