Photos of this have been posted on here before. Way back in the 70's/80's we used to go in here with candles and tins of McEwans Export. Photographing other stuff nearby recently so called in to get some photos for the DoB database. Didn't seem to get as wet as they are now and the roof is noticeably deteriorating. Happened to be wearing wellies when nearby last week so went in and took a few more photos.

Entrance 2

Corridor from entrance 2

Sandstone door to small chamber

Into the main chamber

Looking back (wall separates the two entrance passages)

2nd main chamber (I don't remember it being back-filled with concrete, probably the year that all three dams were breached)

Entrance 1

Exterior where the wall between the entrances is

Emergency exit

The small room
