It took me a while to realise that the photo from the holiday cottage was the same as the hotel just up the road:

Original (no date), but just look at the size of the staff:



And the modern:

Chimneys gone, windows changed, different balcony, different doorway, smaller staff:

Good spot Stew, I think thats Tarboat with the bowler hat in front of the trap.....

It's no joke, everywhere you go with him, you end up carrying bricks and bits of railway track.
